New Book Clubs Kick Off!

This week we started our new book clubs at Bauerschlag. We are reading Calvin Coconut: Trouble Magnet on Mondays and Mudshark on Wednesdays. Monday's group spent some time researching Hawaii, the setting for their book. I would love to be like Calvin's friend and suddenly get to go to Hawaii but I am not sure it is all exactly what she expected. I think she will have some adjustments to make as she figures out how to be one of three kids. The Wednesday group sharpened their brains by doing brainteasers so that they could match problem solving skills with Mudshark. Some of those puzzles were pretty tricky! I look forward to some fun activities next week!

Reading Feast!

With the holidays right around the corner, I am looking forward to feasting on some great books! I love when I have some time to just read for fun.
